As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Personal Lines Senior Account Manager join our growing team.


Position Overview:

Exciting opportunity for an experienced personal lines insurance professional to play a vital role in our mission to protect what matters most to our clients. You will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients, analyzing, and assessing their insurance needs, and recommending appropriate coverage solutions and options.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops customized insurance solutions/packages to fit client’s unique needs and markets to carriers accordingly.
  • Ensures that the proper insurance protection is obtained for client’s risks.
  • Actively manages and administers accounts ensuring that all information is accurate, current, and appropriately valued for coverage purposes.
  • Processes client inquiries, researches and answers questions based on their insurance needs.
  • Completes applications, questionnaires, issues binders, identification cards, certificates of insurance and requests for proof of insurance.
  • Prior to policies renewing, review exposures, update information, re-market (if necessary) and timely deliver renewal policies.
  • Carefully and timely process transactions ensuring accuracy of all information to avoid any errors and omissions exposure.
  • Provides assistance with claims filing, management and resolution.
  • Documents all interactions with clients and/or carrier in Agency’s management system.
  • Communicates any issues with supervisors to ensure timely resolution of issues and excellent customer service.
  • Expectation of 24-hour turnaround time in responding to clients, company partners, other inquiries and any matters related to client’s coverage.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Key Characteristics:

  • Must possess strong knowledge of the Agency’s carriers, their underwriting guidelines and procedures and all documents required to place a risk.
  • Must be a sales-oriented self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities demonstrating excellent time management skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment while maintaining poise and composure in high pressure situations.
  • Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with others to explain complex issues, receive and interpret complex information, and respond appropriately.
  • Strong computer proficiency of Microsoft Office suite as well as Agency’s management system.
  • Team player, self-starter, and one who is also able to gain the trust and support of members of the team.
  • Ability to work with highly sensitive information and maintain confidences at all times.


Education and Experience:

  • A four-year college degree and a minimum of two years insurance experience or any combination of education and experience needed to satisfy the requirements of the position.
  • Minimum of five years of personal lines experience as an Account Manager.
  • Must hold a personal lines license for the lines of insurance being written.

Salary: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
