Preventative Maintenance Tech - EPA Cert Required

Join our team as a Preventative Maintenance Technician to support our gated retirement community. In this role you will be responsible for the performance of scheduled comprehensive preventive maintenance procedures of residential and public area heat pumps.

How you will make an impact

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on heat pumps, including filter changes and visual inspections per manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect and repair the condensate drain, add water treatment tablets, and lubricate the fan motor.
• Check smoke detectors in apartments.
• Complete work orders promptly with detailed task and equipment information.
• Maintain required materials and supplies for efficient task completion.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Supervisor or Maintenance Manager to ensure smooth community operations.

What you will need

• Basic understanding of HVAC maintenance. Must have the ability to adjust to new industry techniques and become familiar with new equipment as required
• EPA 608 Universal Certification
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff
