Job Summary:
Assist with receipt, administration, storage, and distribution of raw materials, work in progress, finished goods, hazardous waste, supplies and packages.
Job Responsibilities
- Checks in freight and verifies against packing slip information.
- Receives freight against purchase orders in the ERP system.
- Ensures materials are put away or delivered to the proper areas.
- Utilizes drum carts, hand trucks, forklifts and other handling equipment to move and/or weigh materials and products.
- Prepares and documents orders for Production and R&D.
- Prepares finished goods for shipment.
- Prepares, receives and delivers FedEx packages.
- Handles and stores controlled substances.
- Transports raw materials and finished goods between warehouses.
- Performs transactions in the ERP system to issue orders and create labels for Production and R&D orders.
- Assists with cycle counting and physical inventory.
- Assist with monitoring the hazardous waste accumulation areas and coordinating shipments of hazardous waste and materials.
- Works as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes.
- Performs all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements.

Job Requirements

Education
- High school diploma (GED)
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Able to deal with employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and/ or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, JD Edwards or other inventory database.
- Must have valid driver's license, clean driving record.
- FDA, cGMPs, and SOPs related to job requirements.
- Detail oriented and Flexibility to perform varied tasks
- Experience
- One (1) to three (3) years warehouse experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Pharmaceutical experience a plus.
- Must have forklift experience.
