What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Director position at Aveyron Homes, Inc.?
PURPOSE: To provide leadership in the development of high quality individual program plans to residents and clients of Aveyron Homes, Inc. To develop and/or assure systems which support and maximize clients’ abilities and independence, to maintain appropriate numbers of well trained staff to carry out the plans, and to empower the client choice in all relevant areas. The Program Director (PD) will serve as the Designated Coordinator for the organization, per licensing requirements. Supervise direct support staff and site program coordinators implementing the coordinated services, support plans and service outcomes.
FUNCTIONS REQUIRED/QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
- Meet qualifications of QMRP status and/or Designated Coordinator criteria.
- 21 years of age or older, to permit working with adults and minors.
- Have a valid driver’s license – DOT checks may occur.
- DHS background checks will occur. Reference checks with former employers, law enforcement agencies and county agencies may occur. Applicant must pass all checks and not be excluded from federal health care programs.
- May not be under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol while on paid company time.
- Literacy is necessary (reading/writing skills).
- Certification or willingness to become trained to administer medications.
- Capable of safely lifting a minimum of 30 pounds without difficulty.
- Able to utilize computer efficiently – Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel are most commonly used.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
