Job Summary: The Watches and Jewelry Product Data Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of product data across various retail channels. This role involves managing product attributes, pricing, inventory, and descriptions to support retail operations, e-commerce platforms, and marketing initiatives. The specialist will collaborate closely with internal teams, including merchandising, marketing, IT, and retail partners, to optimize product data quality and enhance the customer experience.
Data Management Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate product data, including SKUs, descriptions, specifications, pricing, and inventory levels across multiple retail channels.
- Ensure product data integrity, consistency, and compliance with brand guidelines and industry standards.
- Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to create compelling and detailed product descriptions and attributes that align with brand identity.
- Work closely with IT and e-commerce teams to ensure seamless integration and updates of product data across digital platforms.
- Monitor and analyze data quality, identifying gaps or inconsistencies and implementing corrective measures.
- Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues and liaise with technical teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Work closely with sales and marketing team to tag/re-tag m. Ensuring that all inventory tags reflect the correct information.
- Meet with buyers to accurately update prices for merchandise (Weekly/Monthly).
Shipping Responsibilities:
- To oversee and manage the company’s overall shipping department functions.
- Communicate with multiple service providers such as AIB, UPS, DHL, Parcel Pro, Brinks, Ferrari and FedEx to arrange shipments, pick up and drop offs.
- Safely package outgoing items following shipping regulations and requirements.
- Oversee and handle all incoming shipments.
- Verifies the quality and quantity of items against supporting documents. I.e. Purchase orders or packing slip.
- Work with the Finance Department to organize all supporting documents for outgoing shipments.
- Periodically review and negotiate rates favorable to company’s bottom line.
- Preparing documents such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, or declaration of goods.
- Packing, sealing, labeling, or affixing postage to prepare materials for transport.
- Manage and order shipping material and supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in product data management, preferably in the watches and jewelry retail sector.
- Proficiency in using Product Information Management (PIM) systems, ERP, or similar database tools.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
- Ability to accurately track Inventory and create reports.
- 2 years or more of Shipping and Receiving experience.
- Experience with International Shipping and Receiving.
- Must be able to work independently under no supervision.
As Desired:
- Working Knowledge of Inventory Management Software: Jewel Mate/ Logic Mate experience an asset.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and retail channel integrations is a plus.
- Knowledge of luxury retail in the watches and jewelry industry is desirable.

Compensation:
- Hourly range: $24-$28 an hour
