AVI Event Services is a national audiovisual production company with headquarters in Fort Wayne, IN. We have been building long-standing relationships with national and international corporations for the last 25 years by providing audiovisual production support services that exceed our clients’ expectations.
AVI is searching for an experienced account executive to add to our creative minded team. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in audio visual production and sales experience.
- Position is responsible for selling A/V production services to corporate and social event clients, increasing company revenue, and communicating with fulfillment team to propose accurate client solutions
- Responsible for generating new business to expand current customer base and supporting existing clientele as required
- Exceptional Customer Service is expected, understanding our client’s needs and goals and meeting them
- Always maintain a healthy pipeline that ensures achievement of established revenue targets
- Attend client visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and appropriate networking meetings as necessary to develop and support the customer event experience
- Work hard to exceed client expectation
- Focus on multiple details to ensure client satisfaction
- Be self-driven, motivated and ready to win
The successful candidate will develop new client relationships and be responsible for meeting new business expectations, work with AVI technical and creative teams to propose client desired meeting services, attend professional networking events, travel to client events and possess excellent relationship building skills.
The Account Executive will have the following skills:
- MUST have at least 5 years of prior experience successfully selling AV Production for corporate meetings and events, preferably in the face-to-face meetings industry
- Willing to be active in professional associations such as CVBs, MPI, PCMA, ect..
- Knowledge of audiovisual, lighting and corporate meetings
- Strong sense of autonomy required
- In depth knowledge of the corporate meeting industry
- Excellent verbal and written skills in the corporate environment
- Multi-tasking skills dealing with corporate clientele
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to create proposals and track progress in company CRM
- Proven prior account executive experience in corporate event production
- Willingness to travel as required
