What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping-Receiving/Warehouse/Tow Motor Worker, Full-time position at AVI Foodsystems Inc?
We are looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of a Full-time Shipping-Receiving, Tow Motor operator/Warehouse position at one of our facilities. This position will work Dayshift Monday - Friday and an occasional Saturday as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain organization of finished goods stock as well as stock of supply materials
- Unload supplies being delivered and load outgoing orders
- Verify quantity and description of supplies received
- Prepare outgoing orders
- Operate tow motor within proper operating procedures in a safe and orderly manner
- Maintain accurate physical inventories
- Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
- Follow proper receiving procedures
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
- Responsible for warehouse cleanliness and maintenance
- Communicate any issues of concern to management (safety concerns, or security concerns)
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures, safety, and etiquette
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred
- Great work ethic
- Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity
- Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi-task
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
- Tow motor and hand jack experience
- Flexibility to learn other roles and fill in when other team members are off
