Food Service Worker at Kenyon College
We are seeking a Food Service Worker to join our team at Kenyon College in Gambier, OH. AVI Foodsystems has been providing comprehensive food services with a focus on quality and freshness since 1960.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing hot and cold foods, adhering to temperature requirements and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up stations with entrees, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
- Interact with guests in serving, retail, and dining areas.
- FOLLOW PROPER GUEST SERVICE PROCEDURES WHEN INTERACTING WITH OTHERS BY SMILING, MAKING EYE CONTACT, AND GREETING GUESTS.
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment according to client and regulatory rules and procedures.
- Maintain a fast pace and ability to multitask when performing duties.
Job Requirements:
- Previous food service experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate with other team members and departments professionally and respectfully.
- Maintain a professional relationship with all team members, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.
