- Oversee all channels to ensure the brands are attentive and responsive to fans, followers, and customers; communicate with helpful and engaging responses.
- Grow fans and followers by driving organic social programs and assisting with content initiatives for paid social.
- Manage the social media channels by providing monthly content and channel analytics that share performance, insights, and opportunities for improvement to meet KPIs.
- Assist in raising brand awareness and increasing engagement by developing and executing social media strategies. Collaborate with the creative team to bring content ideas to life. Lead the ideation process, assign tasks, and ensure cohesive, high-quality content across all platforms.
- The ideal candidate is creative, forward-thinking, and data-driven, with a strong ability to foster organic, relevant conversations in real-time through photo, video, and text.
- Finding and engaging key audiences on social media, developing creative and engaging campaigns, managing social platforms, and using analytics tools to better understand social media audiences and performance. They will also have a proven track record in strategizing, implementing, and executing paid social advertising campaigns across multiple channels.
- Uploading posts on all platforms by using mobile and/or desktop.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to create editorial content calendars, identifying stories/initiatives to highlight.
- Able to create and manage paid media campaigns across platforms.
- Lead and take part in behind-the-scenes social media events.
- Understand, monitor, and predict social media trends and use that to inform social content and strategy.
- Translate social sentiment and engagement into strategic insights to help inform marketing and paid media decisions.
- Engagement opportunities (scoring, email, A/B testing, landing pages, new features) to establish annual plans and best practices.
- Influence our efforts to improve the customer experience through relevant and consistent messages.
- Develop and expand collaboration with other companies or influencers.
- Use data to gain insights to affect communications planning; monitor and analyze performance to measure impact.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure messaging is consistent with the overall culture and branding.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, especially during events, where flexibility and quick decision-making are key. The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, and ensure high-quality content is captured and posted in real-time across social media platforms. This includes coordinating with the creative team, engaging with the audience, and maintaining brand consistency throughout event coverage.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of social experience at a brand or agency.
- Ability to analyze data and make sound recommendations that impact social media KPIs as well as the total business.
- Ability to discover current trends and respond to cultural moments appropriately and efficiently.
- Deep and thorough knowledge of social platforms. (Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Linkedin, etc).
- Knowledge and use of social media management and analytics tools in one or more of the following: (HootSuite, Sprout Social, Creator Studio, IconoSquare, Buffer, Facebook Business Suite, etc).
- Working knowledge of paid search strategies.
- Ability to leverage research, data, analytics, and user testing to support strategic priorities.
- Ability to think creatively, solve problems, plan directions, and overcome obstacles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively and effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and budgets simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong editorial instincts.
- Ability to effectively communicate and build and maintain relationships.
- Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary.
Compensation:
- Hourly range: $28-$31 an hour
