We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Production Scheduler/Planner at Aviagen Group. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and experience in production planning to become a key member of our GP Compliance Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, producing, distributing, and maintaining all schedules for critical activities within the GP operation in the East Region. This role will report directly to the Regional Vice President and be located in Pikeville, TN.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, producing, distributing, and maintaining all schedules for critical activities within the GP operation in the East Region. This role will report directly to the Regional Vice President and be located in Pikeville, TN.
Key Responsibilities
- To manage a Production Plan based on sales requirements, processing machines capacities, materials availability, and manpower availability.
- To ensure seamless integration of all schedules and develop, produce, maintain, and distribute: GP Placement Schedule, Spike Schedule, Depletion Schedule, Clean Out Schedule, Hatchery Schedule, Vaccination Schedule, Disinfect Schedule, Shavings Schedule, Wash Schedule.
- To perform daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and ensure bio-security and health & safety standards are met.
Requirements
- Poultry processing experience in a supervisory or managerial role in production or planning.
- Bachelor's Degree in a suitable field.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task in an intensive environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and solid ERP experience related to demand, supply, and production planning and scheduling.
