Feed Conversion Manager

Job Description Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and professional FCR Manager to oversee lifetime feed conversion ratio (LFCR) trials and provide technical support for LFCR stations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of feed trials while maintaining biosecurity, health, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Biosecurity & Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• LFCR Testing Program: Oversee and maintain accountability for LFCR testing and performance tracking.
• Data & Performance Review: Conduct daily reviews of LFCR performance summaries and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Operational Management: Supervise LFCR trials and technicians, oversee station preparation, bird preparation, weighing, and data collection.
• Scheduling & Team Leadership: Manage staffing schedules and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Equipment Maintenance: Set up, calibrate, and maintain essential testing equipment.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the Senior FCR Manager, LTFCR staff, Grow Farm staff, and Selection Team to ensure efficient processes and reporting.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the Senior FCR Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in agriculture or a related field.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including potential weekends or after-hour call-ins.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with leadership capabilities.
• Valid driver’s license.
