Aviagen is currently seeking a highly experienced Farm Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance functions to ensure safe working conditions and to meet or exceed regulatory compliance. This individual will partner with the management team to create and maintain a safe work environment.
Job Description:
- General troubleshooting and repair of electrical circuits.
- Repairs & Installs various types of mechanical machinery.
- Performs day-to-day activities of the maintenance mechanics to achieve safe, timely, and satisfactory work.
- Fabricates parts using wood, metal, or plastic.
- Performs a variety of maintenance work on water and water purification systems.
- Completes paperwork for work orders as required.
- Assists other maintenance crews as necessary.
Job Qualifications:
- Proficient in trouble shooting electrical circuits.
- Proficient in repairing and installing various types of mechanical Machinery.
- Good knowledge of water systems and water purification systems.
- Ability to Fabricate parts using wood, metal, or plastic.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a timely and professional manner.
- Must have exceptional communication, both verbal and written, attention to detail and the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment using excellent organizational skills and precise attention to detail.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant progressive maintenance & electrical experience required.
- Must possess a strong customer-centric attitude, high energy level and a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
