What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Quality Representative position at Aviagen?
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Attend customer placements within assigned area (TN, AL, MS)
- Provide quality assurance support at customer placements.
- Communicate with Hatchery management and Technical managers regarding placement and chick quality observations.
- Develop good working relationships with all customers and Aviagen Teams.
- Write detailed trip reports after each placement.
- Willing to travel up to 70% in assigned area; (TX, OK, AR) and occasionally attend placements in other regions.
- Bachelor of Science in Poultry Science or related field and/or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of hatchery operations or the poultry industry.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel (with Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, and Word.
- Must be self-motivated and disciplined, and capable of working unsupervised along with the having a flexible and adaptable work schedule.
- Have effective communication, organizational, interpersonal, and social skills.
- Strong time management and organization with an emphasis on the ability to prioritize objectives and plan tasks
- Must be able to effectively and professionally resolve conflict.
