Aviagen is hiring for a Dispatcher/Logistical Coordinator for the Feed Mill. This position will be responsible for receiving feed orders, managing ingredients, and dispatching drivers to farms.
Job Description
- Receives feed orders and coordinates with Poultry Specialist
- Reviews feed orders and input data into spreadsheets
- Schedules, Records, and Files reclaim feed request
- Ingredient inventory management and requisition
- Operates scale house and receives BOL for all ingredients
- Coordinates/pairs loads and Dispatches drivers to farms
- Delegate workload to drivers, while trying to balance driving hours evenly
- Reviews feed mill bins and farm bins to ensure a fluid unloading process
- Inputs ingredients, vendors, and customers in the Control program
- High school diploma or GED
- Computer Experience is necessary, with fluidity in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to multitask in a high-stress environment
- Good delegation skills
- Ability to operate heavy equipment
