AVIAN Inventory Management is hiring a rockstar Salesforce Developer to advise, design, implement and manage the company’s entire Salesforce platform including new software updates. This individual must be analytical and a problem solver with strong attention to detail while remaining efficiency focused. Aviation industry experience is a plus!
Must have:
- 5 years of experience working with Salesforce architecture, data modeling and integration techniques
- 5 years of experience with UI Technologies including APEX, JavaScript and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Experience with MS Outlook 365 applications
- Experience in planning and implementation of backup and disaster recovery plans
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Salesforce credentials: Certified Platform Developer I & II (Preferred)
- Experience with ITIL or other ITSM frameworks, scripting languages (Python or Bash), cloud computing platforms (AWS or Azure), and virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V) is a plus
Responsibilities:
The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for the following duties as well as any additional duties as assigned by management per business needs:
- Develop and manage our Salesforce platform (including but not limited to AvSight & Accounting Seed)
- Perform detailed data reporting analytics and transform data into information to assist in business decisions.
- Maintain high level of data quality by continuously testing financial parameters // perform code reviews and unit testing as needed.
- Train staff on the use, functionality of, and any updates to the ERP, electronic devices, or applications
- Build and implement custom scalable solutions (applications) while maximizing Salesforce platform custom coding capabilities (APEX, Lightning Web Components)
- Review customer requirements to ensure proper flow down to external providers
- Communicate errors & provide feedback to relevant parties
- Secure company assets & manage within departmental budget
- Document all support tickets and resolutions
- Prepare, review, track, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and established Service Level Expectations (SLEs)
- Stay up to date on the latest software and hardware technologies
- Plan and implement when needed backup and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers for system support and maintenance
- Consistently follow Company policies and procedures as well as OSHA safety regulations to ensure a secure work environment
Work Location and Travel:
This position is required to be in office (on site) Monday - Friday. Hybrid work arrangement will be considered on case-by-case basis. Ability to travel domestically and internationally on occasion as needed is required.
