Responsibilities
- Provide support for program management execution of an advanced research and development program.
- Work with program teams to develop program objectives, integrated roadmaps, detailed schedules, and program budgets.
- Support the development of acquisition and technical documentation including, but not limited to, statements of work and specifications.
- Analyze manufacturer’s proposals as permitted by law and regulation.
- Review and report on contact status/execution.
- Facilitate program management throughout the design, engineering, integration, and test and execution process.
- Support reporting on the health of the program through briefs, reports, spreadsheets, articles, etc. Provide communication strategies, plans, and program messaging.
- Respond to Public Affairs Office correspondence and participate in public affair endeavors, such as industry days.
- Prepare rebuttals and program office responses as required.
- Support program execution and recommend modifications to processes for future program activities.
- Work with the program management team to develop out-year planning and provide input to development and integration of requirements/capabilities.
- Provide management support at program office reviews, sometimes at various locations.
- Provide support for budget analysis and reporting requirements, to include collecting financial data, analyzing financial and expenditure reports, and providing recommendations to support sound financial decisions based on the analysis.
- Assist in reviewing Statements of Work (SOW)/Air Tasks to identify specific tasks and the commensurate level of funding required.
- Review and analyze contract and government financial statements and reports to assist in updating and recording all expenditures and incurred/accrual costs monthly to support timely analysis of program execution.
- Analyze obligations and expenditures, maintain forecasts, prepare reports on the status/recommendations and availability of funds.
- Understand the program budget structure, both current and out-years, to assist in identifying funding for all efforts.
Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills:
- Education: Candidate must have an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Experience can be substituted for education.
- Experience: Candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience in DoD Program Management activities.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Candidate should be proficient in all Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
- Candidate should have demonstrated good oral and written communications skills.
- Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment.
Other Requirements
- A current SSBI or Federal Investigative Standard Tier 5 (T5) or Tier 5 Reinvestigation (T5R) within the last 5 years. A final DoD Top Secret clearance. Eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) in accordance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704 and Special Access Program (SAP) in accordance with SAP Nomination Policy (SAPNP) with no disqualifying security issues that will deem a candidate ineligible for access.
Travel (10-20%) is required for this position.
- This position has an on-site requirement and is not eligable for remote candidates/telework.
- Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Salary range: $95,000-$120,000 (The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.)
