About the Role: Aviat Networks is searching for a continuous improvement manager to assess, monitor, and enhance business performance for our organization. In this role, you will analyze current practices and develop business process improvements. as well as implement changes in workflows, continuous improvement tools, structures, and teams to enable improved company performance.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze company processes and procedures and develop process enhancement strategies
- Develop a systematic approach for investigating issues and complaints within business processes, prioritizing execution.
- Establish suite of standard forms, assessment tools and approaches toward process improvement
- Facilitate cross-functional kaizens from scope definition to follow up actions
- Train, mentor and guide team members in process improvement techniques, tools and execution
- Manage, facilitate, and execute on global improvement projects supporting strategic goals
- Oversee and lead a selection of improvement projects, including all change management aspects from assessment and re-design to implementation and training
- Explore and analyze all available data to identify potential projects as well as influence engagements
- Report regularly on project status to promptly identify potential areas of risk or conflict
- Actively promote the sharing of knowledge across functional areas involved in processes
- Manage several medium to large improvement projects
- Track revenue, cost and/or service results relating to set project objectives
- Understand business analysis, project management best practices and continuous improvement- lean six sigma best practices
- Train, lead and develop team members on continuous improvement tools
- Mentor team members on continuous improvement projects
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, process management, or operations preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in facilitating and leading continuous improvement projects such as waste elimination, kaizen events, value stream mapping etc.
- Demonstrated success in developing training programs and mentoring others in continuous improvement tools and projects.
- Proven track record of developing a strategy for continuous improvement and leading a continuous improvement program.
- A strategic and analytical mindset with dynamic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Lean Six Sigma certification strongly preferred.
- PMP Certification preferred.
- Experience leading continuous improvement programs in a transactional environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication/presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Resourceful, proactive, and consultative in approach.
- Adaptable in a dynamic work environment with shifting priorities, open to new ways of working, and capable of solving a wide range of business challenges.
