About the Role: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing complex projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring project milestones are met, and delivering projects within scope, budget, and timeline. The Senior Project Manager will need to handle a globally distributed development and cross-functional team for our range of telecommunications products in Software and/or Hardware. The candidate needs to have a proven track record as a project manager, first class communication skills in internationally distributed development teams, substantial expertise in software and/or hardware development projects, and should be obsessed with co-operative teamwork and accountability of delivering extraordinary results.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead dedicated projects with full accountability.
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication among team members. Perform regular program meetings and gating reviews per product introduction process to ensure project remains on-track and meets compliance to industry requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations. Work closely with Product Line Managers, Sales team, TAC team, Operations team, development teams, including software, system engineering, hardware design and signal processing disciplines.
- Execution and Monitoring: Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project success.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders. Escalate deviations from the plan.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial accountability.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field with a strong technical background in Hardware/Software Engineering or similar.
- A master’s degree or PMP certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management of software/hardware development projects, with a proven track record of managing large-scale programs.
- Strong leadership, result orientation, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure project accuracy and quality.
- Attention to details and an ability to meet targets and deadlines.
- High level of self-motivation and ability to manage multiple products at one time.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point and MS Project.
- Openness to try new methodologies and a desire to continually improve performance.

- High level of written and oral communications in English.
Professional:
- Background in Engineering and Manufacturing Operations or Product Management.
- PMP or other certifications.
