As an Aircraft Mechanic Instructor, you’ll be responsible for delivering engaging, hands-on training to aspiring aviation maintenance professionals. You’ll bring real-world experience into the classroom and guide students through both theoretical concepts and practical applications of aircraft maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach curriculum aligned with FAA and industry standards.
- Foster an engaging learning environment, providing mentorship and guidance to students.
- Maintain accurate student records and assess academic progress.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to continuously improve the training program.
- Ensure a safe, organized classroom and laboratory environment.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the Supervisor to support the overall success and effectiveness of the aircraft maintenance program.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience
- Strong technical knowledge and passion for mentoring future mechanics
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven training environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Associate’s degree in a related field
- Prior teaching experience (not required – we’ll train the right candidate!)
