Position Purpose
This position is responsible for providing guidance and support to Career Services leaders at campuses within a designated region. The Career Services Manager will also develop implement, and execute special projects related to career services efforts. This position will be responsible for coordinating and planning employer events, and maintain up-to-date contacts with employers, industry and community partners, as well as keeping abreast of industry career trends in student placements.

Monday – Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm at our home office location

Job Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and expertise to Career Services personnel at the campus level to ensure processes and procedures are met and that campuses meet or exceeds the required employment rates reported on the annual report for all active programs each year.
- Report on regional performance metrics that analyze placement trends and services provided for campuses in collaboration with the Executive Director of Career Services and home office career services personnel.
- Provide specific guidance in the construction of graduation and employment charts and participate in the evaluation and audits of the charts to ensure successful compliance and timely completion.
- Take lead in the update and revision of processes and procedures related to G&E reporting process.
- Collaborate with campus leaders and career services teams to develop training and staff retention plans.
- Participate in the career placement processes in accordance with all school and company policies and procedures, all applicable state and federal regulations, and all accrediting agencies’ standards and requirements
- Assist campus Career Services personnel in developing and executing site-specific programs that address the current needs of students, to promote retention, graduation, and employment in field. Provide assistance for campus Career Services personnel to increase in-field employer contacts, as well as involvement in industry-related events in support of student placement.
- Participate in PAC meetings to ensure agenda is relevant and action items are clarified, timely, and feasible.
- Review, update, and enforce policies and procedures related to career fairs, career-related events on campus, and on campus interviewing.
- Participate in formal and informal mentoring of new employees to support onboarding, training, and joining a positive working culture that supports the institution and its students.
- Perform and complete other job-related duties, assignments, special projects as assigned by Supervisor.
- SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Limited, only as assigned in the absence of the Director of Academic Affairs.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in education leadership, with a focus on student outcomes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven, compliance-oriented educational environment
- Detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, strong work ethic, and professionalism
- Persuasive and effective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service in an educational setting
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work independently and as collaborative team member and have exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills are required with proficiency in MS Office applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams. CampusNexus experience a plus
- Ability and willingness to work outside of regular work shifts, including evenings and/or weekends as necessary or as requested by Supervisor
- Ability and willingness to travel locally and/or overnights for business purposes.
