Position Purpose
This Student Accounts Financial Specialist ( Bursar) position is essential for overseeing the management and allocation of federal funds, alternative funding options, and third-party billing and payments. The Financial Aid Specialist ensures the timely processing and return of Title IV refunds while verifying that all students meet their tuition obligations efficiently.
Key Duties :
- Administer the disbursement of federal funds and alternative funding options, ensuring compliance with regulations and institutional policies.
- Oversee third-party billing processes and payments, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
- Manage the timely processing and return of Title IV refunds, while monitoring student accounts to confirm that tuition obligations are met promptly.
This position is responsible for aligning financial operations with organizational goals to ensure efficient billing and payment processes, thereby enhancing the institution's overall fiscal health and supporting its growth.
