Aviation Repair Technologies is a leading FAA and EASA-certified repair station specialized in component MRO, airframe maintenance, aircraft disassembly/end-of-life management, and logistics services for the most popular airplanes flying today. ART is currently looking for a full-time Purchasing Associate. This position is located in Miami, Florida and is 100% onsite.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Work with managers to establish purchasing requirements to support the repair station and customer programs;
- Contact vendors to obtain pricing and part availability;
- Create and process purchase orders;
- Develop and maintain a solid knowledge and working relationship with vendors;
- Follow up and expedite orders;
- Assist with outsourcing components to third party repair stations;
- Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies; and
- Attend and contribute to productions meetings with shop managers and other staff.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED);
- 2 years' experience purchasing commercial aircraft parts; and
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with Quick Aviation (QAV) software;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficient using Microsoft Office programs; and
- Ability to work independently or with others and execute desired jobs and tasks.
