As the Corporate CPSO, you will play a pivotal role on ASEC's security team, leveraging your expertise to ensure the highest standards of security and compliance. This position will be based in our Lexington Park, MD corporate office and will require frequent travel to and from NAS Patuxent River.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating with government Program Security Managers and/or Program Security Officers on ASEC contract teams.
- Directly supporting ASEC Contractor Agency Managers and subcontractor CPSOs (CSSOs).
- Overseeing security management and facility operations, to include: Security Education and Training Awareness (SETA); Government led and annual self-inspections, to include Corrective Action Plans; Maintaining personnel records and material accountability and control; Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Security (OPSEC) Plan, and DD-254 maintenance and updates; Facility visit requests, notifications, and records; Investigation and reporting of security incidents; Transmission, reproduction, and destruction of SAP information and material.
- Collecting information and assembling nomination packages for program access. (PSQs, PARs, LOCNs, etc.).
- Facilitating program indoctrinations and debriefs.
- Assisting ASEC and industry partner Contractor Special Security Officers with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) requests, indoctrinations, visits, and training.
- Assisting ASEC and industry partner Facility Security Officers (FSOs) with collateral clearances, indoctrinations, visits, and training.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 5 years of experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer is required.
- 5 years of experience working with the following manuals: DoDM 5205.07, 32 CFR Part 117, Technical Specifications to the ICD 705, Joint SAP Implementation Guide to the Risk Management Framework, required.
- Requires a thorough understanding of Prime and subcontractor DD-254 implementation, specifically related to SAPs.
- Proficiency with JPAS, CNet, and GEMS, required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams), required.
- SPSC certification through CDSE is desired.

Security Clearance Requirement:
- This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Salary Range:
- The estimated salary range for this position will be $105,000 - $140,000 annually, based on an individual's level of experience and skill set. It is our goal at ASEC to provide equitable compensation to all employees.
