JOB OVERVIEW
The Bag Runner provides services behind the counter in the handling of passenger luggage and the security of the belt. The agent is responsible for providing excellent service and ensuring baggage handling is done according to standard policies and regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:
- Provides services behind the counter: baggage handling, transfer of baggage and oversize transfers, assistance in the processing and transport of passenger luggage.
- Guarantees the service to the client's airlines/airports in accordance with the contracts and within the agreed budget level.
- Complies with customer service skills as provided via training.
- Fully trained and familiar with the procedures behind counter management, aviation safety, security procedures, and safety procedures of Grupo Eulen
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, LICENSE, and/or CERTIFICATION
- High school diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE and/or KNOWLEDGE
- 1 year of aviation experience
SKILL and/or ABILITIES
- Must be able to lift 70lbs or more
- Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods of time.
- Be able to maintain customer service professionalism while under pressure and stressful environment
- Must be able to read airline boarding pass
- Always be professional in appearance and manners to passengers and any other person at the airport Training will be provided.
- Must pass all pre-employment requirements and those to obtain an Airport ID with a seal
- Must have schedule flexibility for the weekend, holiday, night shift
- The ability to pass a drug test and TSA fingerprint background check.
