JOB OVERVIEW
The Cabin Lead is responsible for ensuring the following tasks:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:
- Conduct daily debriefing with team members to ensure productivity and compliance
- Lead airport team to perform their work in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations including DOT, ADA, ACAA, FAA, and other government agencies as well as American Airlines and OALS policies and procedures
- Promote an environment of mutual respect and trust between team members
- Coach and mentor team members in skill development, exceeding customer experience and company culture behaviors, policies and procedures
- Establish and promote effective relationships with an external and internal customer base that fosters integrity, respect, and dignity
- Access operational environment and conditions to ensure it’s well-maintained through daily, and weekly audits
- Direct opening and closing procedures, manage schedules to ensure adequate coverage of all work areas, delegate tasks to employees
- Communicate with upper management regarding operations and personnel
- Complete and submit Daily Tour Reports on employee attendance, productivity, and daily operations
- Clean, stock, and search aircraft cabins, perform and complete security checks mandated by the client, FAA, and TSA
- Ensure familiarity with all areas of the operation and aircraft and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while complying with the company’s expectations, rules, and procedures
- Clean, mop, stock, empty trash, wash sink, hardware, and backsplash in lavatories and galleys
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, brush seats, armchair positioning, clean and store literature in pockets
- Blankets, Pillows, Tray table cleaning
- Assure proper handling of hazardous materials, correct use of uniform, safety vests, earplugs, and safety behavior actions inside and outside the aircraft.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, LICENSE, and/or CERTIFICATION
- Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a driver’s license for AOA training
EXPERIENCE
- Airport or relevant leading experience
SKILL and/or ABILITIES
- Must pass a criminal background check as well as a drug screen prior to employment
- Must have schedule flexibility for the weekend, holiday, night shifts
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces.
- Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push and pull for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment
