Position Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Remote Surveying Manager to join our team in the Treasure Coast, FL area. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of surveying projects remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surveying methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities :

1. Manage and coordinate surveying projects remotely, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.

2. Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise and guidance as needed.

3. Oversee a team of surveyors and technicians, providing leadership, support, and mentorship to ensure project success.

4. Conduct remote site visits and inspections using advanced surveying equipment and software.

5. Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports, maps, and other deliverables for high end residential and reputable commercial clients.

6. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

7. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance project efficiency and quality.

8. Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the field of surveying.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.

2. Professional Surveyor license (PLS) in the state of Florida preferred.

3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with a proven track record of managing surveying projects.

4. Proficiency in surveying software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and GPS / GNSS technology.

5. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage remote teams and communicate with clients.

6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

8. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for on-site visits if required.
