Avid is looking for a ETL Developer to support the Open Payment Project for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). This role focuses on designing, automating, and supporting sophisticated data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) applications. The developer will work on data warehousing, integration, migration, and business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, automate, and maintain ETL applications for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of imported data from external environments.
• Create logical and physical data flow models for ETL applications.
• Develop and support data warehousing, modeling, and integration processes.
• Use Microsoft Visio and Moqups to document application architectures.
• Work closely with development teams to coordinate software requirements.
• Perform system hardening and vulnerability remediation.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for data manipulation and automation.
• Successfully complete mandatory WMATA security awareness training annually.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience with data warehousing, modeling, integration, migration, and ETL processes.
• 5 years of experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• 5 years of experience importing data from external environments into hosted systems.
• 5 years of experience using Microsoft Visio and Moqups for documenting application architectures.
• 5 years of experience coordinating software requirements and working with development teams.
• Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting for data manipulation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
