Job Description (Role Profile)

Avid is hiring Business Generation Representative (BGR) to join its Sales Americas team in Burlington, MA. As a BGR, you are a trusted business advisor to our customers while being focused on building a strong sales pipeline.

Main responsibilities of the role:
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Develop and implement opportunity plans that drive the attainment of critical business objectives.
  • Work closely with partners to develop new opportunities.
  • Follow-up on joint partner/Avid campaigns.
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients, partners and account teams.
  • Analyze multiple market factors to both anticipate/identify customer problems/needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Utilize strategic probing to identify, evaluate, and recommend alternative business solutions.
  • Use in-depth knowledge of Avid’ technology, products and services to help customers formulate strategy and direction.
  • Engage cross functional resources, regardless of geographic location, in order to achieve goal/ meet customer needs.
  • Maintain/exceed phone calls, IMs, email, connect time and pipeline activity goals as set by management team.
  • Utilize Sales Force CRM for all activities and account/territory management.

Success in the role is measure by metrics such as:
  • Growing the pipeline weekly basis by 5%.
  • Achieving daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly sales goals as set by management team while achieve /- 5% accuracy.
  • Achieving a minimum of daily 50 dials, 50 emails/IMs, 2 hours connect time.

Your profile:
  • You have a first successful experience in Sales or telemarketing.
  • You have experience working in a SaaS / Cloud solutions company.
  • You have a proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone.
  • You are tech-savvy and able to quickly understand complex products and solutions.
  • You are persistent, adaptable and results oriented.
  • You are skilled in negotiation and dealing with objections
  • You are patient and able to handle customer rejection
  • You have a strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • You have excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflow to meet deadlines
  • You are a team player able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
  • You are highly proficient in SharePoint and/or Office 365, espcially advanced in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, plus other sales and social media tools such as Sales Navigator and Linkedin
  • You have a working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software such as Salesforce.com) and telephone systems
  • A degree in business is preferred
