Lead and supervise instructors, offering coaching and development, conducting staff observations, and covering for groups to provide time off. Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving staffing concerns. Ensure a high-quality camper experience by addressing behavioral concerns as the first point of contact and managing camp betterment projects. Support program needs by assisting the Camp Culture Supervisor in organizing evening events, and developing staff development workshops.

We are hiring Group Supervisors for the following locations:
- Camp Blue Sky, Evergreen, CO
- Camp Windy Peak, Bailey, CO
- Responsible for all trip logistics including preparation of group gear and food, communication with permit agencies before and after trips, and inventory expedition gear weekly and repair gear as needed.
- Point of contact for all trips in the field through the use of a Garmin InReach Explorer.
- Implement a pre-trip backcountry curriculum for a ½-full day class including an LNT Awareness Workshop.
- Assess the skill levels of each camper and staff prior to each offsite excursion.
- Prepare trip staff through pre-and-post briefings for latest information, insight and feedback.
- Serve as a camp leader by attending weekly staff meetings, serving as a go-to person for the Assistant Director of Programs, participating in staff and camper supervision, and providing program team support with evening events and activities as is needed.
- Must be at least 21 years of age by the start of camp for this positions
- Must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for a Driver position
- 1 years of experience working at a resident camp and previous experience supervising staff
- Experience in one of our core sports is preferred, but not required
- Minimum of Basic First Aid & CPR certification by the start of camp (and we can point you in the right direction to get this done) Some positions at Camp Windy Peak may require a Wilderness First Aid (or WFR/EMT) certification.
- Work Schedule: Overnight camps are a 24/7 operation. The leadership team will create a schedule that provides you with time off throughout each session. This will typically include an extended daily break, 24 hours off per session, and the weekend, (Friday evening to Sunday morning), between each session.
- Position Duration: Training begins May 13; overnight camp programs run from June 1 through August 2.
- Compensation: Pay is determined based on position, additional responsibilities, relevant certifications, and staff tenure. Starting hourly are below:
- Supervisor: $488.75/week
- Relevant Certification Bonuses: $100 - $400 per certification (up to $400)
