We are hiring Part-Time Summer Day Camp Instructors for the following locations:
West: Golden
Denver/East: Washington Park
Part-time roles we are hiring:
Learn to Bike Instructor Morning Learn to Bike program for Pre-K children. Ideal for energetic, patient instructors who enjoy helping kids build confidence and learn new skills on two wheels.
Whitewater Support Instructor: Mid-morning Whitewater Paddle Program, Wednesday–Friday, supporting kayaking and moving-water activities. Ideal for candidates with paddle sports experience, strong swimming skills, or a lifeguarding background.
Aftercare Supervisor: Afternoon role supervising children ages 5–12 during post-camp activities. Ideal for responsible, engaging leaders who can facilitate games, crafts, and downtime in a safe, structured, and fun environment.
In these role you will
Co-lead daily outdoor programming including biking, kayaking, or SUPing.
Organize and participate in camp programming, ranging from outdoor sports to camp games and rituals
Follow and educate campers on safety protocols to ensure the wellbeing of participants
Serve as a role model by exhibiting appropriate behavior, attitudes, and activities
Provide exceptional customer service to parents and all program participants
Your Background
Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of camp
1 years of experience working with kids in a professional or volunteer setting preferred
Experience in one of our core sports is preferred, but not required for Instructors
Aftercare Supervisors must have a minimum ......
White Water Support Experience in Lifeguarding, extensive swim experience, or moving water paddle sports is preferred
Aftercare Supervisor 6 months of demonstrated experience supervising youth in a highly autonomous, professional setting (school, afterschool program, camp, or similar) is required
Minimum of Basic First Aid & CPR certification by the start of camp (and we can point you in the right direction to get this done)
Important Details
Work Schedule:
Learn to Bike: Monday - Friday 8am-12pm
Whitewater Support: Wednesday - Friday 10am-2pm
Aftercare Supervisor: Monday - Friday 2:30pm-6pm
Position Duration: Training begins May 17 or May 24, location and position depending; Camps run May 27 - August 8 or June 2 - August 15, location depending.
Compensation: Pay is determined by position, additional responsibilities, relevant certifications, and staff tenure. Starting hourly rates are below:
Learn to Bike Instructors & Whitewater Support: $18.81/hour
Aftercare Supervisor:
Relevant Certification Bonuses: $100 - $400 per certification (up to $1,000)
