Job Summary:
This is a role that strategically focuses on on-boarding and servicing Avidbank’s specialty deposit and treasury management products to new and existing client segments to increase the share of wallet and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Major Functions
· Support Relationship Managers and branch to achieve Fee Income & Deposit Growth.
· Promotes Bank business through establishment and adherence to quality client service standards, and participation in sales management and officer call programs.
· Prepares agreements and ensures clients execute and return agreements; scans, indexes, performs quality control of image quality and content of forms and agreements.
· Implements services sold to a client/prospect, when needed as a backup.
· Provides troubleshooting technical expertise on electronic banking products, when needed as a backup.
· Manages the implementation, installation and training of Treasury Management products
Other functions
· Support SVP, Specialty Deposits in the acquisition and retention of business accounts.
· Receive referrals from Relationship Managers (RMs) and review opportunities.
· Discuss the opportunity with RMs and internal Treasury Management team to understand the basic needs of the client.
· Input opportunity into pipeline system.
· Work with SVP, Specialty Deposits to create and maintain reports for mgmt.
· Jointly consult with RMs and SVP, Specialty Deposits on needs & offer advice.
· Jointly propose solutions, review & explain products/services.
· Prepare service proposal, pro-forma pricing and close the deal.
· Follow through on the implementation process to provide excellent client service.
· Proactively work with SVP, Specialty Deposits and RMs to understand client’s needs/problems and offer solutions to meet client’s needs.
· Generate and report to mgmt. on non-interest income from cross-selling products to existing clients.
· Finalize transition from Sales to Service and complete overview of services.
· Ensure client is receiving appropriate charges for services provided.
· Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Other duties as assigned
- Ensure all cash management operations support staff are well informed of new client implementations.
- Maintain all necessary reporting and inform management if there are discrepancies.
Compliance Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the compliance and credit teams to ensure adherence to policies, processes, and Service Level Agreements (“SLAs”) on the full cycle of product provision, while ensuring compliance with all internal controls.
Travel required
Willingness to travel to visit other Avidbank offices and client offices as necessary.
Required education and experience
· BA or relevant degree with substantial banking experience.
- Sound experience of at least 5 to 7 years with a leading organization and familiarity with deposit and treasury management products to be offered to clients with considerable knowledge of how these products work.
- Solid service or relationship management experience.
