Position Summary:
The Onsite Support Representative works closely with their manager and customer site supervisors to promote and sell television services to hospital patients, while also handling service fee collection. In this role, you will provide direct support to patients who are renting television services, troubleshooting issues, and escalating system problems to the service team as needed. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, responsible, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator who can deliver top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of experience in retail sales, cash handling, or any role involving money transactions is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and dependability are a must.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Calm and professional demeanor in stressful situations.
- Flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends based on customer site needs.
- Ability to be mobile throughout the hospital for the duration of the shift, including walking, sitting, standing, and occasional lifting or crouching.
Responsibilities:
- Visit new hospital patients to introduce television services, coordinate service setup, and collect service fees. Assist patients with billing or provide guidance on credit card payments.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues, reboot systems as needed, and report any equipment problems to the Service Department.
- Maintain accurate records of deposits and sales following company policies.
- Follow up with patients for service renewals and train them on system usage.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive customer experience.
