Key Responsibilities
As an Industrial Operations Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products at the lowest possible costs while meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements. This includes setting up, starting, and running all machinery, checking all controls for adherence to operating/safety procedures and ISO standards.
You will also be responsible for weighing ingredients to meet recipe specifications and inserting them into machinery, or ensuring the correct ingredients are delivered to the work area and inserting pre-blended materials into machinery. Additionally, you will monitor production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation, troubleshoot equipment and processing issues, and operate machinery to mix, extrude/discharge or handle materials according to operating procedures.
You will also examine materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards, refer issues/problems to Production Lead or Production/Shift Supervisor for disposition, and perform all required machine cleaning. Furthermore, you will complete and maintain all required system inputs/transactions, document work completed as required, and participate in training, retraining, and continual improvement processes.
