What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Associate position at Avient?
The Production Operator at Avient is responsible for setting up and operating equipment to blend, mix, or transport chemicals that make up our customer products. This position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or procedure manuals, as well as mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a manufacturing environment where noise levels can be loud and exposure to outside weather conditions is routine. You will also be required to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, hard hat, and respiratory protection.
