Job Description
Avila Valley Barn is now taking applications for stocking positions within the gift shops, stocking our beautiful and unique displays as well as receiving new pallets of products for pricing and restocking warehouses. This is a great opportunity to spend your summer and fall enjoying the fun seasons at our farm. No experience is necessary!
8 hour shifts 2-5 days a week with hours that vary between 8:00am and 6:00pm. Must be available to work holidays and weekends. We employ request-off blackout dates on major holidays due to the large volume of customers during those times. This position is seasonal.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to lift roughly 50lbs or less
- Must enjoy being physically active and getting your steps in for the day
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have an outgoing positive attitude and be self driven
- Comfortable being on your feet
- Must have consistent and timely attendance to scheduled shifts.
Job Duties:
- Providing an uplifting and positive experience for each customer that visits.
- Restocking displays and backstock inventory.
- Unpacking pallets of new product
- Pricing new product and scanning into inventory system linked to POS
- Daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of sales floors, displays, and backstock areas.
- Receive training in health and safety standards to be maintained at all times.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
