Avineon is seeking a Senior Applications Developer to support our dynamic team of professionals. The Senior Applications Developer will lead the design and development of a mission critical system. The role requires an experienced professional with a solid understanding of software development, system architecture, and data analysis. This position also requires the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the system meets the client requirements and objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new features and functionalities based on user requirements and regulatory changes.
- Optimize system performance and data processing efficiency.
- Maintain, debug, and enhance the system to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Design, develop, and deploy software applications and tools that support client initiatives.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer and leading development teams.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio, ASP.NET framework, and SQL Server. Experience with other coding languages is a plus.
- Experience with cloud architecture, including Amazon AWS.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with sprints.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Must have problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, organization skills, and initiative, communication.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in software development.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Requires active government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI).
