Experience You May Gain:
- Aid in managing corporate calendars, sorting incoming mail, and assisting with marketing activities
- Participate in full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate sourcing, phone screenings, interview coordination, and reference checks
- Maintain candidate data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Support the Human Resources team by updating employee files, reviewing and updating policies, and providing assistance to the Avint team
- Contribute to the streamlining and organization of onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Enhance contracts management processes by assisting the contracts team
- Organize and file Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and other contractual documents on SharePoint
- Ensure DCAA compliance and support the financial team
- Update financial transactions within our Accounting System and understand the corresponding General Ledger (GL) accounts
- Assist with month-end close procedures and reconciliations
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Assist with timekeeping procedures and the processing of payroll
- Maintain the office environment, including stocking the kitchen and office supplies
- Utilize the internship as an opportunity to gain insights into Business Operations and its specific functions
- Provide administrative support to Avint's Infrastructure division and other Avint leadership as needed
- Contribute to special projects or assignments related to Business Operations as assigned by the team
- Coordinate and set up meetings while effectively managing and scheduling calendars as an Executive Assistant, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Handle office management tasks to maintain a welcoming and organized environment, including ordering supplies and keeping the kitchen stocked
- Bring a touch of festivity by decorating the office for holidays and hosting engaging company events
- Foster a strong sense of community by interacting with employees and running the company newsletter
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree within the Business Operations realm (Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Human Resources, etc.)
- 2 years of professional experience/customer service experience
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Holds self and others accountable for ensuring that results are achieved; seizes opportunities to produce results with minimal supervision; takes action on items beyond formal job responsibility
- Decision making skills, and ability to challenge, negotiate, and influence
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to pass a background investigation prior to hire
- Excellent communication, organization, analytical skills and attention to detail
Hourly Range $15-$20
