Job Summary
The Bartender is responsible for preparing food and drink orders, serving beverages and meals to patrons as regulated by state and federal age requirements, and coordinating lounge/bar activities.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare food and drink orders according to recipes and standards.
• Serve beverages and meals to patrons in a timely and courteous manner.
• Monitor seating in the lounge/bar area and ensure all guests are served.
• Compute bills and accept payment, tracking and balancing sales receipts.
• Maintain kitchen and lounge station cleanliness, cleaning and stocking kitchen and bar at the end of each shift.
Requirements:
• Three to six months related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• TABC Certification, compliant with State regulations.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English language.
• Problem-solving skills, including ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, develop alternative solutions, and use reason when dealing with emotional topics.
• Customer service skills, including ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations, respond promptly to customer needs and requests, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
