What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vendor Manager/Sourcing Manager (Telecom Experience Must) position at Avion Networks?
- At least 3 years relevant experience required.
- Responsibilities may include activities of moderate complexity and providing support for complex or strategic initiatives.
- Manage vendor performance to service agreements, statements of work, letter agreements, and purchase orders.
- Define commodity and supplier strategies
- Adopt best practice commodity management and strategic sourcing processes
- Track category performance relative to targets and conduct supplier reviews for assigned suppliers
- Communicate clearly with procurement leadership, business stakeholders and team about strategies, contracts, and project updates.
- Provide support for highly complex or strategic initiatives; assigned tasks may include:
- Analyze vendor performance and inventory
- Build business case
- Track and report KPI performance against targets
- Conduct supplier performance reviews
- Monitor contract execution - Strong Excel/analytical skills, PBI, SQL preferred
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $52.00 - $62.00 per hour
