The Role
The Full Stack Cloud Engineer will be required to partake in complex software development projects deployed in cloud environments. This position requires strong communication and leadership skills with demonstrated success in people and project management experience. The candidate must be able to drive the development of, and maintain ownership of, complex engineering projects throughout life-cycle including specification, design, implementation, testing, and post-release maintenance. Each candidate will be required to demonstrate a commitment to process/policy compliance and a willingness to promote continuous improvement initiatives.
This role is 100% remote. We are seeking candidates who are eligible to work in Mexico and currently reside within the country.
Responsibilities
♦ Design and coding of software and software algorithms utilizing sound engineering practices.
♦ Manage cloud based infrastructure of production and engineering environments in a careful manner to ensure availability.
♦ Write clean, well-thought-out code with an emphasis on quality, performance, simplicity, durability, scalability, and maintainability
♦ Aid in development of test software necessary for the production test of release products.
♦ Interface with internal and external personnel including customers and other Avionica departments.
♦ Commitment to comply with the requirements of Avionica’s Quality System Manual.
♦ Continual improvement of the quality management systems effectiveness.
♦ Work with SCRUM tools and online management systems to meet sprint milestones.
Knowledge And Skill Requirement
♦ English language proficiency
♦ Minimum of BS or BA (or equivalent) in computer science, computer engineering, or related degree.
♦ 3 years experience in the design, implementation, and support of software projects.
♦ At least 5 years experience with Object Oriented programming using Java, C# or C
♦ 3 years of front end development experience with javascript and CSS.
♦ Experience with scripting languages such as Python
♦ Experience in developing and implementing test procedures, test cases, and requirements analysis..
♦ Experience with SQL databases.
♦ Minimum 1 Year Experience Maintaining Kubernetes Clusters
♦ Proficiency with sprint methodologies
