Avior Executive Search has been retained by a successfully growing Investment Management firm focused on the highest level of excellence and targeting annual returns in the 10-14% range (net of fees). The client focuses on investing in equities over the long term, and in addition gives general financial advice for a specific client. Our client leads by example and because they invest alongside clients.
About the Role
Our client is seeking the Director of Business Development, this is a newly created position. 5 years’ experience raising capital from HNW and UHNW individuals, families, and institutions. The right candidate will have an existing portfolio of clients and COI’s. MUST come from (1) of the following types of firms, RIAs, Private Banks, or Broker Dealers
Responsibilities
- Sourcing prospective investors, discovery and converting the prospects into clients.
- Maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential investors.
- Organize and manage investor meetings, webinars, and other marketing events.
Required Skills
- The ideal candidate will have an appreciation for our client’s investment philosophy, and the ability to convey financial information clearly and effectively.
- Must have an established clientele and COI's to be considered for this position
- Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.
Pay range and compensation package - Generous base salary depending on the candidate’s current portfolio and history of success. In addition to the base salary 25% of the fees generated by the Equity portfolio from assets raise. 50% for fees charged from Financial Advisor type services. In addition to the compensation package there is a path to equity based on achieving specific sales targets and growth thresholds.
