About the job: The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration, ensuring that our workforce is managed effectively and in alignment with company goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, paperwork, and training coordination.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.

- Support the resolution of employee issues and conflicts, promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files, attendance, and performance reviews.
Benefits Administration: - Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Provide employees with information regarding benefits options and enrollment processes.
- Support the development and implementation of training programs for staff to enhance skills and compliance with aviation standards.
- Track and document employee training and development activities.
- Help develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with company objectives and industry standards.
- Communicate policy changes and ensure employee understanding.
- Assist in the performance appraisal process, including coordinating evaluations and providing guidance to managers.
- Monitor performance management systems and track employee progress.
- Ensure that all employee files are maintained in compliance with FAA regulations, safeguarding both the integrity of personnel records and the operational safety of the aviation industry.
- Monitor employee time and attendance using ADP, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance, and reporting.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR role; experience in the aviation industry is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in ADP WFN is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.

Salary : $42,000 - $60,000
