We are looking for a highly skilled AI Tech Architect with a strong background in Life Sciences to join our team. In this role, you will design and implement innovative AI solutions tailored to the unique needs of the Life Sciences industry. This is a remote-only position, open to US-based candidates only. The ideal candidate will have over 9 years of experience in IT and expertise in AI architecture with a focus on Life Sciences applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and development of AI solutions to solve complex problems within the Life Sciences industry, such as drug discovery, bioinformatics, genomics, healthcare AI, and clinical data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to deliver cutting-edge AI solutions that drive business and research outcomes.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient AI systems using machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
- Stay updated on emerging AI trends and technologies, applying them to enhance life sciences research, product development, and patient outcomes.
- Ensure all AI solutions comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA) and follow industry best practices for data security, privacy, and ethics.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams, ensuring successful AI model deployment and optimization.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define technical requirements and align AI architecture with business goals in the Life Sciences domain.
- Troubleshoot and optimize AI models to improve performance, accuracy, and efficiency in real-world applications.
Required Qualifications:
- 9 years of overall experience in IT, with a focus on AI and technology architecture.
- Significant experience in AI architecture and hands-on implementation, particularly in machine learning and deep learning.
- Demonstrated experience in the Life Sciences industry, with expertise in areas like drug development, bioinformatics, genomics, clinical trials, or healthcare data analysis.
- Proficiency in AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras, and programming languages like Python.
- Strong understanding of AI techniques including machine learning, NLP, and deep learning models.
- Experience in building scalable, secure AI solutions that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for AI model deployment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work in remote teams and interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Familiarity with AI applications in drug discovery, genomics, clinical trial data analysis, or personalized healthcare.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and compliance with regulatory standards in Life Sciences.
