Description
The Automotive Detailer Assistant Manager will oversee and participate in achieving productivity objectives and the preparation of Avis vehicles according to company quality standards. They will direct, motivate and develop our Service Agent personnel who are responsible for producing exceptionally clean, quality vehicles. The person in this position will also assist in hiring, training, evaluating, and scheduling of Service Agent personnel. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, superior work ethic, good judgment and problem-solving abilities.
Job Duties:
- Motivate and develop Service Agent personnel
- Manage and monitor productivity of all personnel and location objectives
- Assist in hiring, training, evaluating and scheduling Service Agent personnel
- Produce exceptionally clean, quality vehicles
- Actively participate in company QA evaluations as well as conduct in station quality inspections
- Support of Midwestern Wheel’s Quality Assurance program to ensure vehicle quality is at a consistently high level
- Report all aspects of productivity to the Service Manager

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid state driver’s license and good driving record
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal communication skills to communicate with customers, co-workers and management
- Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to work flexible schedules which will include evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays as scheduled
- Able to handle confidential information
