About the Role:
The F&I Manager will be responsible for generating gross profit through strong finance source relationships, thorough understanding of products and services offered, and successful lender approvals. Key responsibilities include presenting products utilizing the sales menu, achieving penetration and per copy targets, minimizing chargebacks, and ensuring compliance with all policies and laws.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains strong finance source relationships
- Has a firm understanding of products and services offered
- Successfully obtains lender approvals through appropriate deal structure and negotiation skills
- Presents products utilizing the sales menu
- Sells a full line of backend products achieving penetration and per copy targets
- Minimizes chargebacks by ensuring customers understand product values and charging appropriate mark-up
- Ensures all adherence to compliance policies and laws (Red Flag, Risk Based Disclosure Notices, Adverse Action Notices , FTC Safeguard Rules)
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in a retail car sales finance function
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project
- Extra points for: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; Experience with subprime finance
