Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Lease Administrator to join our Global Lease Administration team. The ideal candidate will bring 5-7 years of lease administration experience and possess strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI or similar analytic tool. This role will oversee lease administration processes, manage corporate accounts, and coordinate client and vendor relationships. The Senior Lease Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring data accuracy, driving process improvements, and supporting financial and reporting functions across diverse portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Oversee lease administration services for small to midsized accounts, including overseeing lease abstraction teams and collaborating with global account teams as necessary.
- Abstract and review lease documents to accurately capture rent obligations, critical dates, and financial terms.
- Audit, process, and reconcile lease-related invoices to ensure compliance with contractual and policy requirements.
- Perform desktop reconciliations and advanced audits for lease administration clients.
- Manage and maintain lease administration SOPs, job aids, and process documentation to drive efficiency and standardization.
- Deliver comprehensive lease reports, including critical dates, variance analyses, and performance metrics (KPIs).
- Conduct regular quality control audits to maintain the accuracy and integrity of lease data.
- Serve as the primary contact for lease-related inquiries, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
- Provide training and mentorship to lease analysts, supporting their development and ensuring consistent output.
- Assist the Director of Global Lease Administration with client onboarding, process enhancements, and special projects to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in lease administration or contract/portfolio management.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with lease management platforms.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing high volumes of data while prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to exercise sound independent judgment.
- Acute attention to detail with a passion for quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and with external stakeholders to resolve issues and drive results.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in lease administration or commercial real estate, managing corporate client accounts.
- Proven experience supporting global real estate portfolios, including office, industrial, and data centers.
- Hands-on experience with commercial real estate platforms such as Tango, CoStar, TRIRIGA, Prolease, or Harbor Flex, and accounting tools like MRI or Yardi.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Experience delivering reporting insights through Power BI or similar analytics tools.
