The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of reporting and analytics solutions for our electronic health record systems by gathering business needs, documenting requirements, identifying appropriate data sources, developing reports, and delivering them to stakeholders. Business Intelligence Developer - Healthcare Pay and Benefits :
Hourly pay : $85 / hr

W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
40 hours / week, 24 Month Assignment
Business Intelligence Developer - Healthcare Responsibilities :
Meet with stakeholders to understand business needs for data requests. Gather requirements, document, clarify, interpret specifications, and review for completeness and accuracy.
Design, develop, validate, and perform thorough functional testing of extracts, reports, and visualization dashboards utilizing analytics tools and data sources such as, including but not limited to : Microsoft Excel, Tableau, WebI, SSRS, Power BI, Caboodle, Clarity, Reporting Workbench, Radar Dashboards, Universes, Registry Framework and Data Marts, SlicerDicer, and other Business Intelligence Tools.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including faculty practice team members, administrators, IT staff, and vendors. Effectively communicate technical concepts and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and informed decision-making.
Monitor the performance of BI outputs and take corrective action to optimize or improve the performance when necessary.
Gather, assess, and interpret substantial amounts of healthcare data, encompassing electronic health records, clinical data, financial data, and pertinent information. Offer insights and suggestions derived from the data analysis and interpretation.
Streamline documentation, scheduling, billing, and other administrative tasks, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency and reducing errors.
Manage the data model for reporting for assigned Epic applications and / or business lines.
Business Intelligence Developer - Healthcare Qualifications :
5 years of experience in a healthcare-related organization.
5 years of demonstrated expertise in MS SQL Server or Oracle.
5 years of medicare advantage experience.
3 plus years of Tapestry experience (cert is a plus).
Bachelor's degree.
Experience in Quality Measures Reporting preferred
Epic build experience in a live environment is strongly preferred.
Epic implementation experience specific to clinical workflows and order management is strongly preferred.
CMS claims submission and HCC coding experience. They need to understand the 837 process with MOR, MAO and MMR files and condition capture.
Experience in gathering, documenting, prioritizing, and tracking requirements.
Risk Adjustment model and claims submission. Risk adjustment is a plus.
Epic Clarity Data Model certification in one or more modules (EpicCare Inpatient, Hospital Billing, Prelude ADT, Radiant, Willow, Optime) or to be obtained within 120 days of hire.
Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, data structures, and reporting.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Tableau dashboard, functions, features, and capabilities.
Extensive knowledge of best practices regarding reporting, workflows, policies, procedures, systems and culture in the healthcare environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and metadata skills.
Ability to translate business questions and requirements into reports, views, and BI query objects.
Strong organizational skills and customer service orientation.
Must recognize and evaluate problems, and refer to the appropriate channels for action.
High-functioning team skills, including active listening and rapport-building
Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels to understand requirements, manage multiple and competing tasks while maintaining timelines, remain calm in difficult and stressful situations, and manage ambiguity
