What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Unit Manager/RN-LPN position at Avista Nursing and Rehab?
Avista Nursing and Rehab is seeking a RN/LPN Nurse Unit Manager to assist the Director of Nursing with administrative duties, the supervision and education of the nursing staff.
Responsibilities in addition to tradition nurse duties will include but are not limited to:
- Skilled in directing and motivating the workforce.
- Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
- Organization and prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Our candidates will possess the ability to effectively communicate with patients and other staff.
Educational requirements:
- Registered Nurse License/Licensed Practical Nurse
