Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Control Panel Technician to assemble, wire, and troubleshoot electrical control panels. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in panel wiring, electrical schematics interpretation, and assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire control panels according to electrical schematics and layout diagrams
- Mount and install electrical components (e.g., relays, PLCs, circuit breakers, terminal blocks)
- Cut, strip, crimp, and route wiring neatly and efficiently
- Perform quality control checks and troubleshooting on wired panels
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and company standards
- Work closely with engineers and production teams to resolve issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Experience in control panel wiring, electrical assembly, or related field
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with tools such as wire cutters, crimpers, and power tools
- Knowledge of UL508A panel wiring standards (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and wiring practices
