Activities Assistant

Evergreen Village Prescott, a beautiful senior living community in beautiful Prescott, AZ, is seeking a dynamic and creative team member who can join our team as an ACTIVITY ASSISTANT. This position is PART-TIME and would require availability to work FRIDAY & SATURDAY 8:30am-4:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Partners with the Activity Director in creating an engaging, purposeful, and positive activity calendar for senior living residents. 

• Hosts programs including games, socials, art creation, and exercise as scheduled. 

• Creates a space to foster fun and happiness. 

• Drives the bus to local events. No CDAL drivers license needed. Training provided. 

• Assists in seasonal decor change.

• Visits with residents in individual, small, and large group settings. 

• Partners with community team to ensure community follows all federal, state, local laws & regulations & quality standards for resident care and services.

• Actively participates as a member of a team and committed to working toward team goals.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Clear driving history and willingness to drive the community bus 
• Company automotive insurance requires that employees be between the ages of 24 and 75 
• Capability to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Card 
• One (1) year job related experience preferred in senior living communities
• Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and fellow team members for their involvement in the social events and various scheduled social activities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations
• Competent in organizational, time management skills
• Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following community procedures and guidelines and have the ability to follow through on assigned tasks
• Demonstration of proficiency in computer skills

Salary : $17 - $17
